Our story didn’t begin in a boardroom. It started in the real-world chaos of building startups — juggling growth, managing teams across borders, and constantly firefighting financial blind spots. No matter how well our companies grew, one thing always slowed us down: accounting.
Acctivo is a founder-led bookkeeping and accounting agency that was born out of frustration. We’re Aaron and Mel, and after building and scaling multiple startups, we realized the biggest growth blocker wasn’t product or sales — it was accounting. The tools were outdated. The insights were late. The support was slow.
We decided to build something better — a system that gives founders real-time financial clarity, automation where it matters most, and a team that actually understands startup pace.
Every month ended in confusion. Spreadsheets were messy, accountants were reactive, and reports came too late to drive decisions. We knew there had to be a smarter way. So, we built it.
